Accessibility

What we do

• Text works with screen readers; every page has one main heading and a logical structure.
• The site follows your device's light or dark setting and has a red night-vision mode.
• Everything can be used with a keyboard; charts and maps have text alternatives or tables with the same numbers.
• Arabic pages read right to left; text can be enlarged without breaking the layout.
• Animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion.

Known limits

The interactive globe is hard to use without a mouse or touch screen; the same information is available in the tables and on each town's page.
