- Access to land

- Winter driving
- The road authority Landsverk publishes real-time road conditions (in Faroese). Some scenic mountain roads get no winter maintenance, and some are closed in winter. Studded tyres are allowed from 16 October to 15 May (as reported by KvF in 2022). Road conditions
- Drones
- Drone rules are set by a Faroese order administered by Denmark's Trafikstyrelsen: stay below 120 m, keep line of sight, never fly over crowds and keep 5 km from Vágar Airport.
